Cherry Christmas Balls

by

With Christmas upon us, I wanted to adapt one of my favorite Bliss Ball recipes and utilise the amazing cherries that are in season. These healthy Bliss Balls are the perfect healthy treat and are best stored in the freezer as we are using fresh fruit.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of fresh cherries pitted
  • 1 cup of desiccated or shredded coconut
  • 1.5 cups of almonds
  • 5 medjool dates
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp cacao
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Method

  • Add all ingredients into a food processor or high powered blender and mix until well combined.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls and then roll them in some extra desiccated coconut or for a more decedent option, roll them in melted chocolate (I love to melt Lindt 90% Cocoa chocolate)
  • Keep in the freezer for an way to grab on the go healthy treat
